Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

Currently I offer individual therapy to adults over the age of 18. Typically we use the first session more as an intake to gather relevant information and subsequent sessions we dive into the issues at hand.

How often do we meet?

This is a very individualized question. It is very fluid depending on needs. Often we start once or every other week. It could remain at this frequency, or it could taper off to a lower frequency or even increase at times. Once again we will regularly evaluate and adjust appropriately.

Can I use my HSA/FSA to pay for therapy?

Many clients do use HSA/FSA funds for eligible mental health expenses, but as always please confirm with your insurance provider.

Do you take insurance?

Currently I am private pay which allows for flexibility and attention to focus solely on your needs without having to have a diagnosis to submit and your personal records will not be shared with another entity.

I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance if you have out of network benefits.

What modalities are available for treatment?

Currently I am able to do telehealth only within the state of Massachusetts. There is a plan in the future to expand to in person options in the Metrowest Boston area.

What if I start and I feel it is not a good fit?

No worries at all. You are never locked into treatment and I welcome feedback if the direction we are going is not feeling effective. If it doesn’t work out I will help you find appropriate referrals so that you can find the right provider for you!
